We have been around for 23 years providing safe places for gamers to setup LANs and game together across the country, with 20+ chapter and over 170 events Nationwide raising funds for a variety of charities every year.

The LANFest Charity Stream Zone location is still to be finalized. We anticipate that it will be in the same place as least year, next to the BYOC and PC Freeplay area.

The 3:30 hour block is setup in a way so you can set up and tear down things but still have time to do a 3 hour stream. We recommend checking in 15 minutes before your scheduled start time if you want to maximize your time on-air.

You WILL need a PAX badge to participate in the stream zone. If you need a badge, you can apply for a creator or media badge. Check in at the stream zone admin booth prior to your scheduled time and staff will ensure that you have access to your station.

Content creators are responsible for securing their own badges, lodging, and travel.

We have moved to Tiltify!
Sign up as an individual fundraiser on the LANFest Charity Creators Team Campaign for PAX East on Tiltify.
If you selected a 501(c)3 charity other than LANFest, we will disburse your funding* post event to the charity in your name! When sending the funds raised over to the charity, we always try to work with them to ensure that any fundraising totals you have with them are updated accordingly.
*all donations are subject to processing fees of approximately 20%. Chosen charities will receive total funds raised for them, minus processing fees.

We recommend that you mention the charity you are supporting in social posts, on your Tiltify fundraising page, in your streams, and anywhere else where your audience will be. Signing up and sharing your Tiltify Campaign is a solid foundation to get the word out early!

Your stream! Your community!! We wanted it to be as comfortable as possible so that you can stream your games with your fans/friends. However, networking with your other creators at the Stream Zone could lead to some collaboration and raids to each other throughout the event.

Gaming, Just Chatting, remote podcasting, anything you can think of that you want to engage with your community while you are live! As long as it is within your platform’s TOS + PAX East Rules + Charity of choice’s guidelines, you’re good to go!

Sexually explicit and/or hateful content will not be allowed at the LANFest Charity Stream Zone.
Other than that, there are no specific restrictions outside of the terms of service of the platform(s) each creator will be streaming to.
Do keep in mind that other charities you are raising funds for may have more guidelines that apply to you when representing them.

No, you do not need to bring any streaming equipment.
Each regular streaming station will have the following:
- Zotac MEK Hero PCs – RTX 4070 or better
- 2 24″ Monitors
- 1 27″ Monitor for Public Viewing
- HD Webcam
- Professional Microphone
- Gaming Peripherals TBD
- Elgato Streamdeck
- Ring Lights

We are working with our sponsors to provide the computers, monitors, and peripherals so that you don’t have to lug around any equipment.

We will provide OBS + Streamlabs on the PC’s so you can load in your own information. A few preloaded event graphics for you to use if you don’t have a usb drive of your own assets on hand. We want to make sure you have something to spotlight your stream to your community!
If you need guidance on how to download your Profile / Scene collection to bring with for OBS – EPOSVox has a great guide on Youtube on how to backup/save/move your OBS information.
Other software such as StreamLabs or Meld can be made available, at the discretion of booth management. Please submit any requests for software installations ASAP.
If you are bringing your overlays and stream setup on a thumb drive: Make sure to include all of your media files. OBS Studio, Streamlabs, and Meld Studio do not include copies of your files upon exporting your settings and scenes. These only contain references to where the files are stored.

There is no set list of games available on the PC’s at this moment. We are collecting recommendations to see what we can pre-install before the event. You will be able to sign into any of your accounts and download games that are not already on the PC’s. Just be mindful that downloading something large may eat into your stream time.

LANFest Charity Streamzone Terms & Conditions
Welcome to the LANFest fundraising campaign at PAX West! By signing up to participate, you (the “Participant” or “Creator”) agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Eligibility & PAX West Attendance

PAX West Ticket Required: Participants are solely responsible for securing their own admission to PAX West. LANFest will not provide badges, tickets, or entry to the event. You can apply for a creator badge HERE.

No Guarantee of Placement: Submitting a signup form & creating a Tiltify campaign does not guarantee a spot in the event, a specific time slot, or inclusion in the official schedule. LANFest reserves final authority over all scheduling and placement.
2. Charity Selection & Fund Disbursement

Valid 501(c)(3) Only: Participants may choose the charity they wish to support, provided it is a registered, valid 501(c)(3) public charity in good standing. LANFest reserves the right to veto chosen charities that do not meet these criteria.

Mandatory Platform Use: To be counted toward the campaign, all donations must be processed through the specific Tiltify event page designated by LANFest: Tiltify – LANFest StreamZone. Funds raised outside of this specific link or via external platforms will not qualify for the event.

Fundraising Split: All gross funds raised during the campaign will be split as follows:

80% disbursed to the Participant’s chosen 501(c)(3) charity.

20% retained by the platform/management to cover processing fees, administrative costs, and event overhead.

Disbursement Timeline: Funds will be processed and disbursed to the designated charities within 90 days on average following the conclusion of the event.
3. Participant Conduct & Content Restrictions

Code of Conduct: Participants must strictly adhere to the LANFest Code of Conduct at all times during the campaign and event.

Prohibited Content: LANFest maintains a zero-tolerance policy for inappropriate behavior. Participants may not create, display, or promote:

Adult, sexually explicit, or pornographic content.

Harassment, hate speech, bullying, or discriminatory behavior of any kind.

Right of Refusal: LANFest reserves the absolute right to refuse entry, remove, or disqualify any Participant from the campaign at any time, for any reason, at its sole discretion.
4. Media Release & Compensation

Image and Content Release: By participating, you grant LANFest a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use your name, likeness, logo, stream footage, photos, and any content created during the event for promotional, marketing, and recap purposes.

Sponsor and Partner Sharing: By registering for this event, you agree that LANFest may share your provided contact information (including your name, email address, and social media handles) with the official partners and sponsors of the LANFest Charity StreamZone. These partners may use this information to coordinate event logistics, provide promotional materials, or contact you regarding future collaborations. LANFest does not sell or otherwise share your data with unaffiliated third parties.

No Compensation: Participation in this fundraising campaign is strictly voluntary. Participants are not entitled to any financial compensation, appearance fees, travel stipends, or reimbursement of any kind from LANFest.
