WichitaLAN 38 Recap – A Night of Gaming, Giving, and Community

On November 9th, 2024, Wichita LANFest hosted its 38th gaming event, bringing together over 60 passionate gamers from across Kansas for an unforgettable 24-hour LAN party. The event was packed with thrilling tournaments and casual play sessions featuring popular titles like Rocket League, Golf With Your Friends, and Quake Arena, creating an electrifying atmosphere of competition and camaraderie.

But WichitaLAN 38 wasn’t just about gaming—it was also about giving back to the community. Thanks to the generosity of our attendees, we successfully collected 750 pounds of canned food for the Kansas Food Bank, helping to support families in need during the holiday season.

In addition to the non-stop gaming action, attendees had the chance to win amazing raffle prizes generously provided by our incredible sponsors. The excitement was palpable as lucky winners walked away with top-tier gaming gear, gift cards, and other fantastic swag.
