Wichita LANFest 39: Fragging for Furry Friends

On April 5th, the Wichita gaming community came together once again for Wichita LANFest’s 39th event, held at the Red Roof Inn & Conference Center in Wichita, Kansas. Over the course of 24 hours, 55 attendees brought their PCs and consoles to game side-by-side, compete in thrilling tournaments, and raise money for a great cause.

The featured tournaments were nothing short of legendary, including Halo Infinite, Quake 3 Arena, and the classic Mario Kart 64 – with intense matchups, unforgettable moments, and a whole lot of friendly trash talk.

Gamers stayed fueled with delicious pizza, an endless supply of Bawls energy drinks, and plenty of laughs throughout the night. Lucky attendees also scored some incredible raffle prizes, generously donated by our amazing sponsors!

But most importantly, we raised $750 for the Wichita Animal Action League (WAAL) – helping protect and support animals in need throughout the local area. 🐾💙
