Welcome to GamersforGiving.org, the source for all things concerning Gamers for Giving 2013! For those who’ve attended Gamers for Giving in the past, we’re excited to see you back! We’ve got a lot of exciting activities in store for our 2013 event, and we can’t wait to share the experience with you!

For those who are new, welcome! Gamers for Giving is a time for us gamers to come together, share our passion for gaming, and raise money for charity! The event is a competitive video game tournament combined with a BYOC LAN party that helps raise money and generate awareness for the initiatives of Gamers Outreach Foundation. We hope you’ll consider joining us for the weekend of festivities!

The 2013 event will be a non-stop gaming marathon beginning in the morning hours of Saturday, February 16th and lasting until the evening hours of Sunday, February 17th. Our headline activities include a Call of Duty Black Ops 2 tournament (Xbox 360 – 4 vs 4), a Halo 4 tournament (Xbox 360 – 4 vs 4), a League of Legends tournament (BYOC – 5 vs 5), a StarCraft 2 tournament (BYOC – 1 vs 1), and a 150 person BYOC LAN party produced by LANFest. The event will be hosted in the Grand Ballroom of the Eastern Michigan University Student Center.

Our goal is to raise $15,000.00 to help fund Gamers Outreach initiatives in 2013. All event costs and tournament prize pools are underwritten by our partners. Thanks to their support, event entry fees and public donations will be put directly towards funding Gamers Outreach initiatives.
