Gamers for Giving is a competitive video game tournament / LAN party that helps raise money and generate awareness for the initiatives of Gamers Outreach Foundation. Since its launch in 2008, Gamers for Giving has become one of the largest gaming events in the Midwest. Funds raised from previous years have supported projects such as constructing portable video game kiosks for hospitals, and sending shipments of video game care packages to U.S. troops overseas.

The 2013 event will be a non-stop gaming marathon beginning in the morning hours of Saturday, February 16th and lasting until the evening hours of Sunday, February 17th. Activities include a Call of Duty Black Ops 2 tournament (Xbox 360), a Halo 4 tournament (Xbox 360), a League of Legends tournament, a StarCraft 2 tournament, and a 150 Person BYOC LAN party sponsored by Intel. The event will be hosted in the Grand Ballroom of Eastern Michigan University’s Student Center.

Our goal is to raise $15,000.00 to help fund Gamers Outreach initiatives in 2013.  All event costs and tournament prize pools are underwritten by our partners. Thanks to their support, event entry fees and public donations will directly support Gamers Outreach initiatives.

We hope to see you at Eastern Michigan University on February 16th and 17th! If you’re able, please consider making a donation to help us fund projects throughout 2013! If you can't make it, be sure to tune in to the live stream on Twitch.tv!
