LANFest to Help Fight Covid-19 Through Online Charity Video Game Tournaments

April 2, 2020

LANFest is hosting online charity video game tournaments to raise money for organizations battling Covid-19.

Since COVID19 has stopped us from meeting in person, we decided to fight back.

50% of the proceeds of this campaign will be donated to Vanderbilt University Medical Center and the other half will be distributed to local community chapters across the states!

“With so many people sheltering in place, we wanted to find a way they could help in the fight against Covid-19,” said Katie Briggs, President of LANFest. “By participating in online fundraising gaming tournaments, people can help raise money to support efforts to fight the virus, and have a little fun too.”

There will be prizes for winning teams from LANFest sponsors.

Gamers of all skill levels are welcome to participate in this competition as well as fans who love watching esports and want to support organizations fighting Covid-19.

All games will be streamed at Twitch.tv/LANFest.
