Participants will have 30 minutes to build a deck using the booster packs they received and then they will play in a swiss paired tournament with booster packs of Dragon's Maze as Prize Support. Two booster packs of Dragons Maze ill be added to the prize pool for each participant!

Format Description

Sealed Deck In Sealed Deck tournaments, each player receives six booster packs to build a deck (basic lands are provided). Return to Ravnica Block Sealed will be x2 Return to Ravnica booster packs, x2 Gatecrash Booster Packs, and x2 Dragon's Maze Booster Packs. Gatecrash sealed will be x6 booster packs of Gatecrash.

Booster Draft In a booster draft, several players (usually eight) are seated around a table and each player is given three booster packs. Each player opens a pack, selects a card from it and passes the remaining cards to his or her left. Each player then selects one of the 14 remaining cards from the pack that was just passed to him or her, and passes the remaining cards to the left again. This continues until all of the cards are depleted. The process is repeated with the second and third packs, except that the cards are passed to the right in the second pack. Players then build decks out of any of the cards that they selected during the drafting and add as many basic lands as they want (basic lands are provided).

Swiss Pairing There are a predetermined number of rounds, all the players play in each round: none are eliminated. In each match two players compete head-to-head. The principle of a Swiss tournament is that each player is pitted against another player who has done approximately as well as him or her. In the first round, players are paired randomly. In subsequent rounds, players are sorted according to their cumulative scores and players are assigned opponents with the same or similar score up to that point. One proviso is that the same players never oppose each other twice.
